88 Miles Of Detroit Streets To Be Repaved

Detroit has kicked off work on a $58 million project to repave 88 miles of major and local roads across the city. Plans call for resurfacing 58 miles of residential streets and 30 miles of major roadways, including parts of Joy Road, Russell Street in Eastern Market, Fenkell, Cadieux, McGraw and East McNichols, otherwise known as Six Mile. The DMC and Wayne State University Sign A 6 Month Extension

The Detroit Medical Center and the Wayne State University Physician Group have signed a six-month extension contract to keep clinical and administrative services going. The two sides announced last week that they were cutting ties effective May 15 and not renewing their contract after at least a hundred years.
