DWSD Issues Boil Water Advisory For Large Section Of Southwestern Detroit

UPDATE: As of this morning (Saturday), the advisory has been lifted. Until further notice, according to the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, there’s a boil water advisory in a large section of the city thanks to a large, 42-inch water transmission main break this morning, and some people have reported low water pressure in the area. MGM Continues Major Lead Among Three Detroit Casinos In June

Detroit’s casino revenue is basically flat for the year so far. Per the state of Michigan, aggregate revenue for the three Detroit casinos fell 0.2 percent during the second quarter of 2016 compared with last year’s second quarter, but year-to-date revenue is up a fractional 0.04 percent from the same period in 2015.
