Boy, do we love Michigan. Even if it means venturing north of 8 Mile (there’s a rumor one of our team members will spontaneously disintegrate upon crossing that famous border road going north, however, they haven’t turned into dust yet) and seeing all there is to see from picturesque lakes to waterfalls and much more.
But there’s nothing quite like Michigan from space. It reminds us that our city and county borders are arbitrary and that we’re really all on the same blue and green orb rotating through space. Just a day ago Astronaut Terry Virts shared this amazing shot of the lower peninsula on Instagram and we had to share.
Then it got us to thinking. What about some of the other great shots we have seen as late? Michigan at night from space is pretty awesome.
