Tomorrow (Thursday) POP will be hosting The Fargin Chef with ‘A Taste of Faygo,’ bringing Detroit a unique 5-course meal made with the city’s own finest ingredient: Faygo pop.
The menu, listed below, will knock your tastebuds up to the U.P. with these fruity, faygolicious ingredients.
Tapping into the hearts of Detroiters with Michigan based dishes, The Fargin Chef seems to know just how to make your average appetizer a symbol of city appreciation accompanied by great taste.
Check out these sweet dishes, bound to be fizzing with carbonated goodness:
- Black Cherry Wild Boar kabobs w/ rock-n-rye sweet potato pecan puffs
- Just Peachy Michigan salad w/ peach faygo vinaigrette
- Grilled Swordfish w/ pineapple watermelon faygo salsa
- South Seas Steak w/ faygo kiwi strawberry teriyaki glaze & cream soda carrots
- Brownie Ala Mode – Chocolate butterscotch brownie w/ ginger ale ice cream
You can order ala carte or grab all five dishes for $32 this Thursday at POP (above Checker Bar at 124 Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit) from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m.
