For the upcoming ninth season of the ABC show “Shark Tank,” one of the cities that is having a casting call is Detroit.
The first 500 entrepreneurs to arrive at each open casting call are guaranteed to be seen and will pitch the “Shark Tank” casting team with their business concepts, products or ideas.
It kicks off at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 5 at the Focus:Hope Conference Center at 1400 Oakman in Detroit, but if you’re looking to be one of those first 500, being early is the way to go.
Oh, and make sure your pitch is sharp. You only will have one minute to deliver it.
Importantly, there’s a packet of forms to fill out that you should bring with you. To get those, hit the website at www.PitchSharkTank.com.
“We are always excited to visit cities across the country in our quest to find promising entrepreneurs with great ideas. I believe that great entrepreneurs are all around the U.S., and they just need an opportunity to pitch their idea, so we look forward to traveling to Detroit,” said Clay Newbill, “Shark Tank” Executive Producer.
It’s being hosted by Comcast Business and they’re going to provide free Wi-Fi, charging stations for wireless devices and a lounge area where attendees can network with other local entrepreneurs so your wait isn’t too terrible.
