Capitol Park is gaining a new boutique this week. Bird Bee will be opening their doors on Thursday, May 25 for a soft opening.
The women’s clothing and accessories store will be located on the ground floor of The Albert.
Taylor Bolleber started Bird Bee as an online business and made a name for herself by setting up pop up shops all over town. She was also one of the finalists of the 2016 Hatch Detroit contest.
“I’m proud of how far Bird Bee has come since I first set up shop online and at pop-ups through Metro Detroit,” Bolleber said. “Opening our first brick-and-mortar store is an exciting step in the evolution of my business, and I’m ecstatic to share the Bird Bee style with Detroiters in our new home.”
The store will have special discounts for shoppers throughout the weekend. There will also be a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop if you post a selfie inside the store and tag Bird Bee.
The official grand opening will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Bird Bee will open at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The store’s regular hours will be Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
