After 56 years of touring, Detroit’s own Bob Seger will no longer be a Travelin’ man.
He’s turning the page on an amazing career at the age of 73. The tour, aptly dubbed the “Travelin’ Man Tour,” features 10 new shows as well as a set of makeup dates due to cancellations from last year’s spinal surgery.
A Detroit date hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s customary that the Detroit shows are added after the first announcement. And let’s be honest — it’d be really odd if he closes out his touring career and doesn’t play his home town, where he sells out quickly.
If you just can’t wait, the tour opens November 21st in Grand Rapids and there’s also a January 9th date in Toledo, Ohio. Tickets are here.
Tickets for the already announced tour dates go on sale September 28th and 29th. Fan clubs get first crack with a pre-sales on September 25th.
