You know we like sandwiches. We also know you like sandwiches. A great one is like two slices of heaven, with an extra level of holiness made of whatever is in between.
We’ve not tried Capriotti’s 9-inch “The Bobbie,” so we can’t vouch for it. It looks like from the pictures and description that it’s thanksgiving dinner leftovers as a sandwich, with “homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo.”
If that floats your boat, if you’re one of the first 100 people in line for the official grand opening of their Royal Oak location on Saturday, April 30, you get a free one.
For a year.
If you’re interested in what other local folks think about the sandwich, here are the Yelp reviews for the Troy location that opened two months ago.
Capriotti’s isn’t from around these parts – it was started in 1976 and only recently came to metro Detroit.
“Opening our second Capriotti’s restaurant in the Detroit-area within 2 months of the first is proof of the increasing popularity of the concept,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “Richard operates his existing restaurants seamlessly and we look forward to his continued success in Royal Oak.”
So the sandwich promotion will be at the location at 30720 Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak.
Their regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
