If you have been looking for something fun to do during the week, we have just the thing for you. I don’t know about you, but I really hate feeling like I’m wasting my summer by not taking every opportunity to go outside and enjoy everything our city has to offer.
The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy will be hosting free movie and music nights through July and August. Riverfront Relaxin’ will be at West Riverfront Park and will be held July 28, August 11, and August 25.
Bring the family and listen to live music before the movie screening. There will be food trucks if you want to purchase food.
This Thursday go back to the 1980’s with the band Rockstar. Rockstar is an 80’s cover band. Maybe they will play some Simple Minds or OMD. After the music performance you can watch a movie under the stars. This week’s movie will be The Breakfast Club.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, this is a park after all.

The live music will begin at 6:30 PM and the movie will start at 8:30 PM.
