We don’t always highlight events in Armada (around the office we call it Farmada) – but it’s in Macomb County and sometimes it’s nice to get out of town and enjoy some drinks.
Cider Dayze is in its third year and will be on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27. It’s a nonprofit event that benefits the Armada Lions Club and hosted by Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill.
Although Blake’s is tasty if you’re into hard cider, the Cider Dayze is not limited to just their offerings.
A bunch of Michigan favorites will be there like Falling Down Beer Co., Baffin, B. Nektar, Dragonmead, Atwater, Shorts and others.
Beyond the cider and beer, there will be a silent disco, kan jam, beer stein holding competition, cornhole, hammerschlagen, beer pong and frisbeer.
Frisbeer is where you try to knock a beer bottle off of a post – with a frisbee.
The tickets for this one aren’t the cheapest, but there’s a lot of value as they come with nine drink tickets and you get a 5 oz. commemorative glass.
Saturday will run you $45 if you buy ahead of time, and $50 at the door. Sunday will be $40 ahead of time, and $45 at the door. Their website is here for tickets.
In previous years they’ve had more than 3,000 people attend the event, so it seems like this will be the place to be in Macomb County that weekend.
