Are you ready to get into the holiday spirit yet? Because I’m not. Personally I see this weekend as my final weekend before I jump head first into the pool of all things Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There are plenty of great things to do this weekend, depending on what you feel up to.
I know where I’ll be on Saturday afternoon, Chuck E. Cheese. We will be celebrating my little dude’s 3rd birthday. I know that you’re all jealous that I get to spend an afternoon with a giant mouse, but you can’t all be me.
Have a great weekend!

Bill Nye: Science Guy Documentary
Growing up in the 90s means that I spent a lot of time watching Bill Nye the Science Guy. One of my high school science teachers would throw Bill Nye on in the afternoon when he was too stoned to actually teach his lesson.
There is a new documentary out called Bill Nye: Science Guy and Cinema Detroit will be screening it Friday, November 17 to Wednesday, November 22.
This documentary takes a look at Nye’s mission to help stop the spread of anti-scientific thinking. Let’s face it, we’ve got a lot of people out here that believe that Climate Change is a hoax. It isn’t, but those people tend to have big mouths.
You’ll get to see other big names in the documentary as well like Neil deGrasse Tyson and Ann Druyan.
Go fill your head with knowledge.
Tickets are $9 per person. You can pick up tickets on the Cinema Detroit website.
There are multiple showings so pick the time that works best for you.
Cinema Detroit is located at 4126 Third Street Detroit, Michigan 48201
