Looking for a summer job?

The City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Division is hiring for 200 seasonal positions.

The city is hiring play leaders, locker room attendants and lifeguards.

There will be job fairs over the next two weeks at four of the City’s recreation centers, but you need to apply online here before you go.

April 9 | 2 – 6 p.m. at Crowell Recreation Center, 16630 Lahser Road

April 11 | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Kemeny Recreation Center, 2260 S. Fort Street 

April 12 | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Young Recreation Center, 2751 Robert Bradby Dr. 

April 17 | 2- 6 p.m. at Farwell Recreation Center, 2711 E. Outer Drive

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and should bring an updated resume. The City also will conduct on-site interviews. Applicants must wear “proper attire” for their interviews, so no jeans, sweats, sweatshirts, t-shirts or gym shoes.
