Detroit gets worked up into a frenzy around new (to us) burger places. It’s no different with Shake Shack opening this February 23, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Passing by today we saw that the window had the menu, and figured we’d share.
Turns out this place will have non-stratospheric prices, which will be a big deal for office workers who don’t want to be dropping $20 a lunch.
Here are a few highlights.
A Shackburger (cheese, lettuce, tomato, ShackSauce) will run you $5.39, and a double $8.19.
A float (such as Root Beer, Purple Cow or Creamsicle) will set you back $5.29. A flat-top Shack-cago dog with all the fixings will run $4.29.
Beer (16 oz.) will be $5.79 (looks like there’s only one choice on the menu) as well as wine will be $7.99 for a white and $8.99 for a glass of red (again, limited to company option).
There are also two options for dogs, the Pooch-ini and the Bag O’Bones.
Below are two snaps of the whole thing. Click or tap to embiggen.
Detroit’s new Shake Shack is at 660 Woodward in Detroit, across from Campus Martius.
