When doors of Cobo Center flung open, the throngs came. The were more than 50 product unveilings, enhancements at the venue, and more drew more than 110,509 people on the first day of the 2015 show, beating the 2014 opening day at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
First day attendance represents an increase of 3,949 guests over the 2014 opener, and was the strongest in six years. The best opening day ever was in 2000 when 118,877 attended. Hot items, according to officials, included the Ford GT, Acura NSX and Alpha Romeo 4C Spider.

The North American International Auto Show continues through Sunday, Jan. 25. Ticket prices are as follows – Adults: $13; Seniors: $7 (65 and older); Children 7-12: $7 (6 and under are free when accompanied by parent or guardian).
