On Wednesday, April 13, Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream and the Build Institute are hosting Detroit’s first dynamic Speed Coaching event. The event runs from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held at the Build Institute, 2701 Bagley St, Detroit. Speed Coaching is free to attend. Interested entrepreneurs should register here.
Modeled after speed dating, the Speed Coach event will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate in up to six 20-minute one-on-one coaching sessions.
The region’s best small business specialists, as well as subject experts from Sam Adams will act as coaches.
Across the country, Brewing the American Dream Speed Coaching events have helped thousands of food and beverage business with sales, distribution, packaging, finance, and e-commerce. The goal of the event is to help passionate entrepreneurs solve specific problems with real-world, practical advice.
Brewing the American Dream reflects the desires of brewer and found of Samuel Adams, Jim Koch. He remembers the difficulty of starting and building a successful small business and wishes he had real-world business advice and a loan.
Since 2008, Brewing the American Dream has partnered with Accion to lend over $9.6 million in microloans to 885 businesses. The program has also coached or mentored over 6,000 small businesses.
