Detroit’s Capitol Park is a hotbed of new retail activity with quite a few new places opening up.
The latest entry is Bird Bee, an online retailer and HATCH Detroit finalist that is opening their first brick and mortar store in downtown Detroit.
On hearing of their soft opening, we decided to check it out. Their official grand opening celebration is June 1.
The store is beautifully merchandised, to scale with the space and has items at a variety of price points.
It’s a smart, coordinated selection that if you’re familiar with their online offerings you’ll immediately understand.
The brand describes itself as “more than just another boutique, we stand for a lifestyle – the kind that is filled with adventure, creativity and badassery.”
Their ongoing hours are going to be Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can find them at 1228 Griswold Street in Detroit.
