Remember when we told you about the new session IPA coming from Stroh’s?
Well now comes word that contract brewer Brew Detroit will host a symbolic first pour of “Perseverance,” a Detroit Session IPA from Stroh Brewery Company. It’ll take place Wednesday, May 9th at 6 p.m. at Brew Detroit’s Corktown HQ.
“Perseverance” is the first product launched by Stroh’s since the reintroduction of the classic Bohemian-Style Pilsner two years ago. It’ll be sold exclusively in Michigan and use “The Chimera” … the giant mural painted on the Russell Industrial Complex that faces I-75 by artist Kobie Solomon … as its label art.
The new beer is described as:
…a flavorful, hoppy session beer that satisfies IPA-lovers’ needs, all with a moderate 4.5-percent alcohol by volume.
The beer has begun shipping to independent retailers across the state. The first-pour event is open to anyone over age 21. More information is at brewdetroit.com.
