The event will be held at Bamboo Detroit (1442 Brush St) and will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s hosted by the How to Start a Startup Meetup and is free to attend. Check out the event’s Meetup page.
Lauren Hood, Acting Director of Liv6 and Co-Founder of Deep Dive Detroit will lead the workshop and show attendees how to engage community in a meaningful way.
During the event, Native <> Newcomer will pitch their unique platform for furthering collaboration between natives and newcomers. After their pitch, you will be able to take part in a community brainstorm and collaborating session that will help shape the Native <> Newcomer platform.
In addition to the workshop and brainstorming opportunities, attendees will also have time to network with other Metro Detroit professionals intent on building a better community.
