Spring 2018 Michigan Who’s Who In Building and Construction Showcase
If you are in the building and construction trades then it’s important to get out there and meet other people in your industry.
The Blue Book Building and Construction Network has put together a networking event this week.
There is a whole host of businesses signed up already.
The event is free to attend, but you will need to register.

Network After Work Detroit at Mike’s Pizza Bar
Looking to get out and meet people in all types of professions? This is the networking event for you.
Network After Work draws a mix of people from different industries. It is also a pretty laid back networking mixer.
Tickets for Network After Work are currently on sale online for $15. You can also buy tickets at the door for $20.

30-Second First Impression Workshop
Looking for a bit of help with your networking skills? The city of Ferndale and the BUILD Institute have your back.
This is the second event in the Open City: The Art of Networking series.
During the workshop you will learn all of the aspects of having a great elevator pitch. Barbara Boldt will be the instructor for the event.

Sleep Out: Young Professional Edition
Last week we wrote a story about the Sleep Out: Young Professionals Edition for Covenant House that is happening this week.
Is this a normal networking event? No, not really. But you know what, you’re going to really get to know some people while you are sleeping out in the elements. Not to mention you are also doing something good.

The National Association of Women Sales Professionals (NAWSP) will be holding a panel discussion and networking event at WeWork.
The event will focus on best practices, the future of women in sales, and becoming a power influencer.
