Attention to all of you who love to organize your home, office, and life: Metro Detroit is getting a Container Store, and it’ll be the first in Michigan.
The Container Store will have a Grand Opening on Saturday June 4, 2016. The new store will be located at 43525 West Oaks Drive in Novi – in the former Best Buy.
There’s a second Container Store coming to Metro Detroit as well, at Rochester and Big Beaver roads in Troy. Plans are that location will open in the fall.
During the Grand Opening weekend of the Novi Container Store, they will be partnering with Forgotten Harvest and donating 10 percent of sales.
The Container Store started in 1978 when they opened the first store in Dallas, Texas. Since then they have opened 80 stores throughout the United States.
The new location will offer over 10,000 products organized into 16 lifestyle departments. Maybe I’ll finally figure out a solution for my makeup collection as well as all of the toys that my son has. Maybe.
The new location will also offer a new program called Contained Home. Contained Home is a personalized, in home service. A Contained Home Organizer will come to your home and work with you to find solutions for all of your needs.
If you don’t necessarily need someone to come to your home to help organize it, you can also use the free Elfa design services. They have experts to help you customize your home or office. This could be a great way to tackle your wild closet or pantry.
