EmpowerHer Pitch Competition
Twelve social entrepreneur finalists will be competing in the EmpowerHer Pitch Competition this Wednesday night.
The Michigan Women’s Foundation has partnered with the Ford Motor Company Fund to put this competition together. The twelve finalists were selected from more than 130 concept papers.
The three categories for the evening are ideation, launch and growth. The winners will receive cash prizes, investments and professional services.

2018 Detroit Policy Conference
The Detroit Policy Conference will focus on creating a culture of civility in Detroit, exploring what it means to be “civil” and the role that communities play in influencing individual behavior.
