Michigan is about to get our first L.L. Bean store, the company announced today. The new location will be in Clinton Township at Partridge Creek Mall. The Michigan Gaming Control Board has released year over year figures for the month of January (2016 vs. 2015) reporting that the Detroit casinos’ aggregate revenue fell by 1.8 percent to $109 million in January 2016. The casinos together paid nearly $13 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the city of Detroit in January, and $8.8 million in state taxes in January.
