Attention for all of you with small children — the new Peppa Pig World of Play is officially open inside Great Lakes Crossing.
If you have kids who love the show then you will feel like you’ve walked onto the show itself. There are 14 different play areas for kids up to the age of eight to entertain themselves.
My four year old and I had a little sneak peak of the place before the Grand Opening. I will admit that we do not watch Peppa Pig, but he still had a blast.
He really enjoyed Danny Dog’s Garage with its tow truck, car wash, gas station and plenty of tricycles and balance bikes to ride.
He also spent a lot of time working in the Supermarket.
It couldn’t be Peppa Pig’s World of Play without a full size model of Peppa Pig’s house.
You can make a sandwich in the kitchen, bake a pie, and see a surprise in the refrigerator. Polly the talking parrot is hanging out in the living room, so be sure to stop by and say hello.
Just a note about Peppa’s house. It looks like it isn’t that big from the outside, but it is pretty large. There are also two entrances, so if you have a quick kid they might get out of there before you realize it.
If you have a climber you are in luck because there are three different areas to climb and explore, Peppa’s Treehouse, George’s Fort, and Rebecca Rabbit’s Underground Adventure.
There are plenty of hands on things for kids to do too.
Like puzzles. From the floor puzzle by Daddy Pig and the ducks to the dinosaur puzzles in George’s Dinosaur Discovery area.
To the back of Mr. Zebra’s Post Van.
You’ll also find a snack stand to grab food if you all get hungry. Just a little warning, you will have to go through the gift shop once you exit. Guard your loins.
This is only the second Peppa Pig’s World of Play in the United States, the other location is in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. There is also a location in Shanghai, China.
Tickets for Peppa Pig World of Play are $25 for an adult-and-child ticket, additional adults (ages 9 and older) are $5 and additional children (6 months to 8) are $15. You can purchase tickets in advance here.
