The sun was shining and so were the cars at the 2015 Concours D’Elegance, one of Michigan’s most popular auto shows, where the event was held this Sunday. Vehicles gather from all over America and Canada to be judged on the beauty of their design. The judges had their work cut out for them.
Gleaming Maseratis, vintage Harley-Davidsons and sporty Lamborghinis were just a few of the many vehicles sprawled on the golf course at the Inn at St.John’s in Plymouth, the Catholic seminary turned luxurious estate that boasts an ornate chapel, fine dining at 5ive Restaurant, ballrooms and upscale guestrooms.
Only elite car collections are deemed worthy by the car selection committee. Their standards are exacting, but it can easily be summed up into three categories: magnificent, rare and classic. People showed up in droves and the event was a steal at $35 a ticket with free admission for children under 12.
Take a look at some of the sickest cars we’ve ever seen.
