The District Detroit is one the city development that has caught the most attention in the last year.
The expansive, $1.5 billion vision anchored by the University of Michigan’s Detroit Center for Innovation means there’s a lot to talk about between the four residential buildings, four commercial buildings, two hotels – and the nearly $800 million in state and local incentives that developers Olympia Development and The Related Cos. say they need to get this done.
