The march of businesses big and small heading into the downtown area continues on.
On Thursday, QStride, a leading technology solutions provider specializing in business intelligence, analysis, information technology (IT), and consulting services, announced today that the company will move from their current Troy location to a Downtown Detroit office located at One Woodward Avenue.
Built in 1962, the 29-story One Woodward Building was the first skyscraper designed by Yamasaki, best known as the architect of the World Trade Center in New York City. The Mid-Century Modern style building is located at the gateway to Woodward Avenue at Jefferson Avenue, across from Hart Plaza, Detroit’s riverfront park.
One Woodward is now 100% occupied.
The office will have a software application development center supporting industry leading technologies such as business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing and web application development.
The four year old company aims to assist mid-market and Fortune 500 companies improve their performance by implementing high impact business intelligence and analytics software, as well as specialized IT consulting services.
In addition to the move, the company is also expanding their business operations by hiring around 30 new employees in a variety of tech related fields.
