Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Wright Museum with their African World Festival next weekend.
Running Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16 the 33rd annual African World Festival will draw over 150,000 attendees to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, for a weekend full of performances, poetry, arts and crafts, African drumming and dance, ethnic foods, and more!
The big excitement this year is for headliner, Julian Marley, son of famed reggae star Bob Marley. Don’t miss his sure to be stellar live performance on Sunday.
The 3-day festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day, and looks to be a good time for the whole family.
