Love visiting Detroit’s cultural attractions? Most readers of this blog near and far we think do. But also want to save money? Check out what we found.
It’s called the D Discount Pass from the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. It’s the only pass that lets you save up to 20% (or more) at participating museums and attractions:
- Motown Museum
- Ford Piquette Avenue Plant
- The Henry Ford
- Sea Life Michigan Aquarium (New – See our preview of the sharks here)
- Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History
Furthermore, with the D Discount Pass you can take advantage of buy-one-get-one free offers (BOGO) at the Arab American National Museum and the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House.
To get the pass, all you need to do to is head to visitdetroit.com/discount and fill out the entry form. You’ll receive a bar code, either through email or your mobile device. Just show the barcode at participating attractions, and you’re good to go.
The D Discount Pass expires on December 31, 2015, so be sure to take advantage of it this year.
If you want to learn about the D on a budget, this might just be the ticket.
