Downtown Detroit is about to get a Domino’s.
The Ann Arbor-based chain has a franchisee opening in the historic Buhl Building, on Griswold Street in the Financial District (across from the Guardian Building). It’s expected to open in the next couple of weeks. Previously, this spot had a Quiznos then a short-lived independent sandwich spot.
We reached out and got more details.
“By investing in the heart of Detroit, we have created a welcoming, friendly and professional atmosphere which supports the rebuilding of the city as a whole,” said Remy Sarhan, Marketing Manager, STA Management. “In order to achieve and sustain a thriving Detroit, employment opportunities such as Domino’s Pizza should not be passed up!”
We’re told they’re looking to hire managers, assistant managers, customer service representatives, pizza makers and delivery people. They’re looking at having anywhere from 15-20 team members, and will onboard a complete team before opening. Domino’s as an operation is in the process of hiring 200 new people.
