MGM Grand Up, MotorCity And Greektown Revenue Down In January
The Michigan Gaming Control Board has released year over year figures for the month of January (2016 vs. 2015) reporting that the Detroit casinos’ aggregate revenue fell by 1.8 percent to $109 million in January 2016. The casinos together paid nearly $13 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the city of Detroit in January, and $8.8 million in state taxes in January.
