Minor Earthquake Shakes Detroit

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake shook Detroit on Thursday night. The earthquake was centered near Amherstburg, Ontario according to the United States Geological Service. Although rare, minor earthquakes do hit our region from time to time. According to Earthquaketrack.com, a couple very minor earthquakes have happened over in Canada just over the river in the past few years. Local Young Professionals Are Sleeping Outside To Raise Money For Detroit's Homeless Youth

Thousands of young Detroiters are homeless on an ongoing basis, and more than 15,000 people in total are estimated to be homeless in the city. After months of anticipation, the restaurant Lovers Only is open in the ground level of the 28Grand building in Capitol Park.
