18 Local non profits receive $13.4 million in grant money

On Wednesday, the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation announced that 18 local nonprofits will receive a total of $13.4 million in legacy grants, ranging from $25,000 to $2 million. The foundation is the legacy of the late Ralph C. Wilson Jr, who passed last year. Who couldn’t use a portion of $50,000 for their business? Six Michigan woman-owned businesses got a boost recently at the third Entrepreneur-YOU Business Plan and Pitch Competition at Walsh College. The competition is a collaboration between Walsh College, the Michigan Women’s Foundation and Inforum Michigan.
