Tequila Mundo at the Royal Oak Farmers Market was the place to be last Saturday. For $45 (10 tickets) or $65 (15 tickets) tickets were exchanged for top shelf tequila samples. Things to do included flirting with hot girls pouring the drinks, flirting the hot girls clustering in groups, and making a fool of yourself on the DJ’s dance floor. While tequila can easily be mistaken for paint varnish, Tequila Mundo was an education in the good stuff, which was smooth drinking.
It had a mild honey aftertaste followed by a slow burn in the throat. Salsa and taco vendors were also in attendance. It would have been great if we could use our tickets for food. I would have liked to see mezcal and Mexican beer vendors too. Oh well, maybe next year.
