California is suffering the most deadly and devastating wildfire in the history of the state right now.
One of those is the Camp Fire. On a path to possibly be contained sometime by the end of the month, the fire has claimed 42 lives, burned 117,000 acres and destroyed the city of Paradise.
NBC News has created a neat interactive where you can drop the fire on anyone of 1,000 U.S. cities. You can check it out with any one of those cities in the country here (and many of Detroit’s suburbs like Sterling Heights and Warren). It’s stunning.
