In what has become an annual tradition, Detroit’s “Official” Christmas tree arrived at noon Wednesday in Campus Martius Park.

The 60 foot tall Norway spruce was hauled in from more than 200 miles away from near Cadillac, Michigan. The Norway spruce was selected because of its shape that resembles the smaller version of Christmas tree you might put up in your living room.
