Are you all ready for Mother’s Day this year? It’s this Sunday after all.
If you haven’t gotten your stuff together for the special mom’s in your life, I’m going to say get your stuff together. You’re running out of time.
Sven wrote up a nice little round up of places to go for Mother’s Day. There’s a few great options for brunches and such.
To all of the moms out there reading this week’s City 5, let me take this time to tell you all that you are all doing a great job! Being a mom is hard work, but you’re killing it. Keep it up.
For all of you who are having a hard time with Mother’s Day for whatever reason, I see you. I’ll be holding space for all of you over here.
And with that, let’s get on to what to do this weekend.

This Sunday night is the Parks and Recreation trivia night at Bobcat Bonnie’s in Corktown.
The winning team will take home $100…which you know Mona-Lisa Saperstein would probably try to take from you.
I’m going to try my hardest to be there on Sunday night, because I love Parks and Rec. I think that I have watched the entire series of Parks and Recreation at least 8 times.
