When it comes to Michigan breweries, one beer reigns supreme, at least according to search data.
The Business Broker Network took a look at all 50 states for the most-searched brewery in each state.
All but one state — Missouri — had craft breweries at the top, and even then, Busch is based in St. Louis.
In Michigan, the top-searched beer is Founders. They’ve made a lot of news with their popular pours and their new Midtown Detroit taproom.
When it comes to style of beer, the top searched beer style in Michigan is “lager.” Following this are “pale ale” at #2 and “ale” at #3.
