Sometimes, there are magic moments, and this sure looks like one of them.
Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander was in a local Starbucks when he noticed a young fan wearing a shirsey (shirt with jersey lettering) that said “Verlander” on the back – and this might be one of the epic selfies of Detroit sports history, the moment before he realizes none other than Verlander himself is right there. The kid had no idea what awesomeness was in store.
It’s possible this moment would of been the highlight of my childhood.
