It’s a public video and captioned, “Drunk/impaired Tow truck driver hits 7 cars outside of views bar including hitting my friend while he was parked in his car smh”
We’ve dug into the details on this story. More on that after the video.

According to the Detroit Police Department, the driver of the tow truck lost control of his vehicle in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 17. There were eight vehicles involved in the accident, including the tow truck.
Although the caption on the video says that the the tow truck driver was drunk, the manager for Total Car Care, the company that owns the truck — named “Abe” (he withheld his last name) — when contacted by Daily Detroit said that the unnamed tow truck driver took a breathalyzer and was cleared by Detroit Police.
“Abe” said he took the tow truck driver to the hospital for treatment of his injuries and a police report was filed.
The accident report also said that there was no indication that the driver was intoxicated at the time. There was no ticket issued and no charges have been brought.
We’ve reached out to the creator of the video and are awaiting his comment.
