Three topics to talk about today as we get into sports around Metro Detroit.
First, the USFL made a big splash with the media at their announcement at Ford Field. The opposite-season football league has gotten some attention with the Michigan Panthers and Philadelphia Stars playing in the motor city, and metro Detroit is American football crazy. So will you watch? Will it be a thing?
Then, Mike Florio suggested Tom Brady for the Lions. Do we want to be the divorced dad's rebound team?
And finally, we wrestle with a ranking about offseason progress by John Morrissey of USLTactics putting DCFC in not the best light; and answer if we think Detroit City needs a forward, who can score over ten goals, to make the offense work. Or can it be done by committee?
