The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix returns to the Motor City Friday-Sunday, May 29-31, 2015. Here’s what you need to know to get the most from the event.

The Grand Prix will feature the cars of the Verizon IndyCar Series, the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, the Pirelli World Challenge Series and the trucks of the SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Presented by TRAXXAS. The weekend collectively is referred to as the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and it will feature the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans IndyCar doubleheader.

The event will be held at the Raceway at Belle Isle Park road course. Cars will race the 2.3 mile-long track in one of Detroit’s most beautiful venues.

If you can’t make it to the Grand Prix, you can catch it live on both national and local television channels. The coverage channels are subject to change, however, so be sure to check your T.V. guide before the big day.

Transportation

2015 Grand Prix Shuttle Map

There is no public parking available on Belle Isle for the Grand Prix. The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix offers round-trip shuttle service that runs continuously from two downtown Detroit locations as well as Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Shuttle service from downtown Detroit is provided without additional fee. While you’re on the shuttle, be sure to check out the Belle Isle bridge’s improvements.
